Girls Night – Cheese, Wine & Christmas

On Friday evening I hosted a Christmas inspired ‘Girls Night’ for some of my closest friends. It involved cheese, wine, biscuits, fresh foliage, some metal hoops and lots of crafty bits. We enjoyed a night of creativity for Christmas and made our own Nordic style wreaths!

All the items required to make the wreaths were purchased from Lotti & Lu and presented beautifully within an apple crate alongside lots of other wonderful things. Included were handmade shortbread biscuits, red pepper jam, mulling syrup and meringue kisses. It was such a wonderful evening and a great excuse for a girls night in!

As an accompaniment to the evening’s festivities, I laid on a spread of indulgent cheeses and red wine – the perfect, relaxed food choice that allowed us to eat whilst we made our wreaths. Taking pride of place on my island was my new LSA Tatra glass dome, which I absolutely love!

If you would like to get creative with your friends, why not give this a go! Lucy, from Lotti & Lu, can provide bespoke gift crates on request and would love to custom-make one for you too – just drop her an email.

Or, if you would like to source everything yourself, below are a few things you will need to make your Nordic style wreath. We used fresh foliage to make ours but you could use some faux leaves to make it last that much longer and be something you pull out each year for Christmas!
